Cooking tomato soup in a white cashmere pullover, I realized I didn't have an apron and that I did need one.

So, what does any normal person do? I've no idea, I'm not a normal person! Grin I pulled a towel from the clean laundry stack and found bands in a matching color, which turned out to be sports bandages. Since those were 69 cents per 5 metres (cheaper than ribbons), it's not a waste to use those. Cut, pin and sew with a sewing machine. Cheaper than a new cashmere pullover OR a ready-made apron. Pics below.

I'm pretty partial to a cashmere pullover myself and while I was making Spaghetti Bolognaise last the night I did think that maybe an apron might be a fantastic idea. I like your ingenuity!
