I had a friend ask me to make a friendly reminder doll for her grand daughter who is only 5 years old and insulin dependent. It's very hard on a little person when you feel different. This little doll is a reminder for her to keep hope alive! I'm hoping the little doll's magic shines through Smiley

Beautiful.

You're right about how hard it is on kids to feel different.  My son who's 8 is allergic to all nuts, and he talks about what if he were born "not allergic."  I'm sure your doll will bless that little girl.  She's sure to love it.

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.
