This past halloween my son wanted to be Indiana Jones and after seeing btlgrl's fabulous costumes I thought I'd share my son's also.  I tea dyed the shirt to give it a dirtier appearance and then scrounged around til I found other items that would work.  The only hat I could find that resembled Indy's at all was a white felted plastic hat that I spray painted.  I hope you enjoy...he still loves getting into it lol.

Our zoo has a halloween night and as soon as we got to the South American exhibit I knew I had to use it as a backdrop.  One of the buildings is designed to look like a Mayan temple.

Sorry for the large pics....I really need to learn how to shrink them.

That is an awesome costume, and your son is so cute. He should wear that to the next Indiana Jones movie that's coming out next year... although he may need to get a bigger shirt and pants at that point. Cheesy

He's a doll! How old is he? Great job on the costume!

I should show you guys the pics of the Aladdin costumes that my aunt made my cousins when that movie came out...

Thank you!  Grin

He just turned 8 in May and absolutely loves Indiana.  The both of us can't wait to see the new movie and I'm sure he'll be wearing his costume when we go.  I'll just need to figure out what I'll wear lol.

That's so cute! I wish I could be Indiana Jones for Halloween! But it wouldn't work too well because I'm a girl...

Been there. Done that. Use some black eyeliner or something similar to give him that scruffy Indy-on-the-go look.
