These are a couple of the items I've made in the process of putting together my baby room for my son, who's due in just a couple months. The room has just about everything except for a crib, which makes it look pretty unfinished... maybe once we get the crib I'll do some overall nursery shots, but for now: a pillow/ cushion I made out of this star fabric with a big red star in the corner, which opens with a flap on the back for washability, and a simple mobile with little stuffed primary colored shapes, for which I used a bit of fabric, a bit of fluff, some thread, yarn, and an embroidery hoop, which I spray painted.

Inspiration without application is moot.

The mobile is cool, hope the baby gets lots of use from it.
