I've managed to get one package in the mail.  The other has been stymied by the fact that my local post office doesn't provide customs forms and makes you fill them out online.  (Is it just my campus' reduced-service mailroom that does this, or is that something they're all doing now?  It's been forever since I shipped internationally.)  I think I've filled out all my forms correctly, so I'll give it another shot after work.  This time I'll get to wrestle with the automated machine, so wish me luck!

wow -- I'm still able to fill them out in the post office in my town....
word of warning; I don't think you can send international in the automated machine,
so you may have to go when counter is open....

I managed to get there tonight and sent both of mine out this evening.  I was worried that it would have a line up, but amazingly, I was in and out in 5 minutes or so!

You were correct!  But it meant I got to spend some quality time with old ladies in line at the post office this morning - all complaining that it used to open at 8:30 instead of 9.  The main post-office for the area had the customs forms on hand, so I think it's just the dinky little one that's a block from my office being weird.

The post office by my work always runs out of the customs forms(we must have a lot of international packages being sent), so I keep a few at home that way I can have it ready to go when I get to the post office.

Hi all!  I put in feedback for several folks, and emailed a lot of people to ask about whether or not they'd received if I didn't see a post in the gallery or a PM confirming receipt.  Here are the ones I have down in question:

Did MotherConfessor receive from SlovakiaSteph & GingerPeachy?  YES!  Confirmed.

Did Homerof2 receive from CrazyDa79?  Not yet received, as of 12/28/2014.  Received!

Did LadyBugsandBumblebees receive from BriannaB03?  YES!  Confirmed.

Did RockingBearRanch receive from Homerof2?  Not yet received, as of 12/28/2014.
 Received!

Did Hazelly and Manja_Is receive from each other?  Not yet received (either one), as of 12/28/2014.

I've also emailed AlmostExact (my other partner) - she had a family issue that was preventing her from being active but had indicated she'd complete the swap, so I'm checking on that now (I've held on sending hers out, pending making sure she will be completing the swap).   No response as of 12/28/14.  Sadly, no response, and no comms since 12/12 (as response to my email at that time), so negative feedback given.  Sad

I think that's everything... By all means please email me if you see something to correct!  I'll be giving feedback to the remaining participants as I'm able to confirm each status.

I am waiting. It has to go through customs so there is no telling what that means this time of year. The regular mail has been much slower than previous years.

Received! Pics in the gallery.
