I have been hoarding saving this men's tie from a thrift store for awhile. I saw somewhere on-line that someone made flowers out of them and decided to give it a go.

The flower is about 7 inches across at its widest point. I can't decide if I'm putting a pin back on it or making it into a hair fascinator. What do you guys think?

Hair fasinator. Thats my choice...if you have the hair to compliment it. I love it. Good use for a man's tie, the fabrics are often fun and unique.

After reading the post and comparing with the image it is sure that this is designed from a tie. But it is difficult to understand how it is designed? It will better is the design steps will also get mentioned here.
