It's only marginally cheaper than getting a new "Jll" one from Ikea, but Ikea isn't exactly around the corner from me  Roll Eyes, and I did have the stuff necessary for this lying around.
When I took off the foam, it literally fell apart to dust. I've no idea how old the board was originally, my mom had it for as long as I can remember before giving it to me when I moved out (and I suspect she got it out of the trash when I was a kid, and re-covered it, cuz no way did we have money to buy new stuff then).

Besides, about 1/3rd of the polarvide fleece blanket is left. I was using that polarvide fleece blanket before just on top of this one, to iron on, so it shouldn't melt.
