this took me 2 weeks in my sculpture class and i used about 200 bags. it's about 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and contact cemented to an old RV outdoor rug for secure backing.
it's not very practical for cats Sad but if it gets dirty from being walked on, it just takes a quick wipedown Smiley

this is me with my rug at the Belles Typography Show in Midland, Mi last week.

I've been looking for a non-shaggy rug to put under my dining table, as I hate the thought of dropping food into woolly pile. This could be the way forward Smiley

Genius! Love it! And a perfect way to recycle, something that I think makes it all the more better! Cheesy

OooOOooo that is a big rug. Great way to "upscale" plastic bags.  Grin

This is not like any plastic rug I've seen before, fantastic job.  Artistic and practical at the same time.  This must have taken you a long time to make.
