Well I am currently participating in the 6th round of the Mini Art Quilt Swap here on Craftster. My partner was the ever amazing StickerChic87. One of her themes was Michigan State and from her Pinterest and asking her, the Mumford and Sons Quote, "Where you invest your love, you invest your life."

She just received it today and really enjoyed it! It's already hanging up in her home and I well just wanted to show it off with a few pics I had taken before mailing because it came out better than I had even envisioned it would! And that rarely happens!

The quote was simply freezer paper stenciled and the heart was in the location where she is from and I tried my best to quilt hearts... need a little more work with the edges but it turned out great.

One last Instagram shot... I just focused it on the quote...

Did I mention that I love it? Because I do. Wink After I showed the ladies at the quilt shop yours, they begged me to bring in what I got in return for them to see. They are going to love it too, I just know. Smiley My husband liked it too, which is cool bc we are both from "the heart" as well as living here, so with the quote added it all just ties together so well. He liked the quilting for the UP too, thought it looked like topography. Thanks again!

Wow I never even thought of the "Ups" quilting like that! I really enjoyed making this! It was super fun! I might just have to make a California one for myself!
