Back when this
Hogwarts was posted I knew it was a must to make my Potter girl it. I bought the castle base from Micheals in December and have been working on it just about all of January. Using the stickers would have been easier but each picture is individually hand painted, as I wanted it to have an olden feel. My original idea was to paint each room specifically but after Snape's office looked so universal I decided I couldn't stifle her creativity by forcing her to make each room what it was painted for.
So onward! I'm very proud to show this baby off. Hogwarts! The Dollhouse with lots of peg people friends. I want to guess it took me about 50 hours in all as I'm such a perfectionist on all the colors and details in each painting. Oops. A sane person probably would have spent less than half that, LOL.

She LOVED it! Played with it all night, and only stopped to blow the candles on her cake out. She seriously did not even eat a slice!
All the cousins had to help her put pieces around at some point in the night.

She must love this because I found her this morning with a toothbrush in her mouth before school, playing with it in her room. So happy she loves it! She's going to paint some more on it herself as she's told me. I cringed and nodded my head "It's yours to do with what you like."
