Lil bud vases

I was experimenting making little bud vases and this was my first attempt. Any suggestions? I used Kaiser-Lee board to make the vase part and I was surprised that it dug in so much into the base portion. I had to dig the K-L board out with tweezers. Next time I'll put some shelf paper on the top and bottom of it.

Conclusion? More experimentation is in order.

They are wonderful, especially the green one. What size are they, cause they look really small.

They're 5" x 1.75". I'm going to try another technique soon.

Lovely little vases! I like that you are always trying new techniques and sharing it here - it's very inspiring. I think I've been doing more 'experiments' and samples than projects in my kiln lately.... Undecided
