Our new pup Luna is a maxy chewer, even though she is only 10 pounds. This is a blanket I gave her. It's OK because it was made as a practice piece for machine quilting
So I deal with it by making her knotted lengths of wool strips. I let her pic which one out of my wool stash..
Then I cut along the longest length of the fabric and tie a knot in the middle of the strip.
Then just keep tying knots till one can't tie no more. The next pic shows one about 1/2 way knotted and one she is about 1/2 way done untying. She both chews bits off, and unties the knots..
Here is one all tied up. If you can't tell, that black shadow is Luna's head just off camera, waiting to pounce on her new prize.
And here she is enjoying her new item of destruction.
