The manatee is adorable and the background blues are so pretty.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

So glad you liked the quilt!
Here's a pic of him hanging just before he was sent out:

I love the different techniques on the sunflowers and the manatee is adorable.

Organizer Note:

Just a reminder that sendouts are this Friday! Don't forget to pm myself and your partner when you send, with your tracking number (the post office has changed and it's no longer called a DC I think) if you're sending within the US.

I received from EllaRain this weekend and I am in love with my quilt!!

She choose my Harry Potter theme and did an AWESOME job on it. She made me the crest of Gryffindor:

She said it was her first time doing paper piecing and I think she executed it perfectly. (I adore paper piecing. It's so neat to do!) And she learned a couple new things (that I haven't even heard of...I had to look them up!) like yarn couching:

Neat, right? I'm totally going to have to try that sometime. Also, some lovely quilting! Her lines are so good! Look:

Thank you for the lovely wall hanging EllaRain! It's quite perfect! I can't wait until you see mine! (Although things may have gotten a bit messy at the end. We won't talk about that. There was swearing involved, like all good crafting projects. Haha.) Thank you for being such a lovely partner!
