Love the techniques used on the bird quilt. The threads are amazing. What type of thread is that? Rayon?

The meditation quilt is so neat.  With all of the lovely details you can see a lot of care went into it.

The bird quilt is brilliant! The beautiful stitching on the bird goes without saying, but kudos to you,ThriftyLiving4U, for going all out with the background fabric techniques.  I would never have thought of combining those techniques in an art quilt, but you did and it turned out awesome. Grin

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

I picked up my quilt from Andrea at the post office today Smiley She made me a lovely woodland forest scene. The kitty in the fairy's lap is modeled after a picture she found of my old kitty Moonshadow on deviantART.com. All the animals have such great detail, and she upcycled some beads from old jewelry to add to the stars in the sky.

She also sent some leftover fabric from the backing and a toy for my kitty Gemini.

I love all the details on the woodland scene, they look like they have a lot of texture too.
