I made this as a holiday gift from a repurposed skirt and some felt remnants I've had in my stash for about 10 years.
I didn't follow a pattern, I basically just drew around a standard Ryder Waite deck and adjusted as I went.  It's all hand stitched, apart from the flat piece for wrapping the deck, I stitched around the edges of that with my machine because I wanted it to be very neat. It was a very straightforward project, only took me an evening.

So is it 2 separate pieces?  You wrap the deck with the large piece and then put the wrapped deck into the case?  It looks neat, but was hard for me at first to figure out how it worked (assuming I figured it out in the end!).  Smiley

Yes, two pieces - the part for wrapping the deck is basically just like a square with the main fabric on one side and black lining fabric on the other, kind of like a napkin I guess. The person I made it for had their deck just wrapped in a bit of fabric in a drawstring bag so I wanted to make them something a little more elegant.  Then the wrapped deck just fits into the case.  The case itself is made from one long piece lined with black felt, with felt panels on the sides.
