If you're not a fan of the current Captain Marvel comic, you should be. Outside of it's general awesomeness, it gave the world a lucky hat, and who doesn't want a lucky hat? When the issue first debuted (issue #9 of Kelly Sue DeConnick's current run), there was a knit pattern for the hat. Being a horrible knitter but a pretty solid crocheter, I figured I could make a crochet version for the rest of us who are bad when we have to hold two pointy objects in both hands.

And lookit this:

It's TLC Essentials for the blue and two mystery yarns for the yellow and red. I think TLC Essentials would work just fine throughout, and if you want to take a look at the pattern, I've linked it through ravelry:

It is totally free to use, but it gets pretty long and there's a few notes scattered throughout, and I don't want to screw up any formatting or anything, hence link.

Enjoy! I will do my best to answer any questions.
