Cute bustier top fron New Kids on the Block Curtains!

I started out making this a jumper but i didnt have enough fabric left so i made it a top and omg it came out so amazing!! Its the first time ive done a top like this and idk whats wrong with me. Ud think after 7 years designing id have done this by now lol. Well im seriously inspired now and i have tons of ideas for more cute bustiers. Lord knows i have enough fabric around!!!

My junior high self loves this for one reason, and my late 30's self for another reason! It really is a gorgeous combination of brilliant colors, and the bustier looks like the perfect outfit for their upcoming concert series!

It's awesome! I haven't made a bustier either. I get to frustrated when it comes to bust fitting.

Did you use a pattern? What kind of closure is on the back?

Im going to see nkotb this summer with Boys 2 men and 98 Degrees ! I cant wait .. I need that top to wear to the show !

Thanks all for the great compliments. I dont like short or strapless tops either but these look great with bleached denim jackets or leather ones!! I did use a mccalls pattern. I have to look at the number and post it. It was for a romper or dress but i just made the top part and i closed the back with a zipper. The bad thing is its a top that has to be exact fit so im going to try elastic in the back to give it room for expansion within an inch or two. The bust part was a bit tricky too and i did alter the cup a bit so i could actually fit it together. Im going to work on altering it a lot as i have been searching online and found so many cute ones that are similar to this, but no patterns!!
