Ebay or etsy?

I would like to go into business selling the things I make. I sew and I crochet, mainly baby things but some adults. I am unsure whether to go for ebay or etsy. Has anyone had experience of both? Which one did you prefer? which one did you have more success with?

I live in the UK if that matters?
