Thought I'd put a suggestive content warning.

Not sure if this should go here or into an origami board *g* but I am looking for some advice/suggestions on wrapping paper clothing...I wasn't able to hubby an xmas gift, so wanted to have something special for his bday.  I was looking for a suggestion on how to make a wrapping paper skirt maybe a tube top.  I want it durable for a bit, but it's gonna be a 1 time use thing.  I tried just wrapping paper around and that doesn't work well.  It's tears very easily.

Suggestions or other ideas are welcomed.

Use the paper like fabric. Find a very simple pattern, cut it out of paper, then tape the paper pieces together. Paper is more fragile than fabric, so go a few sizes bigger, so there's less stress on the paper. Doubling up the paper adds strength too
