I'm looking for a simple top/shirt pattern for everyday tops for myself.Things like pullover or t-shirt type tops that aren't total potato sacks.Anybody have any patterns they would suggest?

It looks a funny shape, but drapes beautifully. You need to use a soft fabric, but the result is lovely and very flattering.

try to get a hold off a ottobredesign women edition copy  .
they always have really nice basic stuff that fits really well.

You can always order a copy on their site also you can see the patterns in the different issues
