Yay! I am so glad it all arrived unscathed!  I made/attempted to make 2 different versions of Brigid's cross before I got one to come out decently.  There was also a larger canvas originally, but I totally messed that one up so I scrapped it all together.

I love that Brigid's Cross! Is it made of grape vine? And the little painting of the candles and snowdrops is very sweet. It's too bad that the larger one didn't turn out, but I would be more than happy with this one.

Thank you Wulf! Its actually a raffia wrapped floral wire, its super rough on the hands to work with, but the only thing I could find that kept its shape once I started weaving it.  I had also tried some thick hemp cording (I wanted to mount it inside a larger picture frame), a woven cording, and chenille stems.  The stems worked, but didn't have the natural/rustic look I was aiming for.  Yes the little painting is sweet, and easy to find a spot for on the altar for the holiday and then stash away until next year Smiley

I'm lurking - figure I'd update.  I am officially scheduled to deliver Feb 26, so far this weekend I think I am losing my mucus plug, (sorry if TMI) and my waters are starting to break.  My friends and family all have bets on Valentine's Day, so I guess we shall see.  When I deliver I will post on FB, so if you want updates, that's the place to go.
