So... I'm kind of done, maybe. I'm really pleased with how the hoop came out - but if I'm honest it's not the most complicated design and took about 3/4 hours all in, so I sort of feel like it's not enough. I didn't want to add any extra because the simplicity is part of it really.
Maybe I should do another small hoop too? Or some other 'extra' to make up the parcel. What do you guys think?

I think your partner will be happy with simple Cheesy A good hoop doesn't mean a complex hoop

I've found a new favorite way of doing my backings - a taggy piece of fabric with sharpie writing on it, basted to the felt that i stitch on...

"name" of piece censored

Oh, and in other news, I'M DONE. Might send this weekend, though I suspect I'll send on monday - tomorrow I'll buy packaging, because I can't put it in a padded envelope like I usually do Cheesy This has probably been the quickest, most interesting, and "best" hoop I've made so far (because the motif is from/about/regarding something I think is really awesome). I'm pretty happy with it!

It's starting to come along. I'm never the person done early. I thrive on the excitement of deadlines.

My hoops are both finished except I have to back them.  I had one all finished, or so I thought, until I finished the second one.  The first one just didn't seem as 'good' compared to the second so I did some major revamping and now it's 'good' too.

I'm starting to think that I picked a waaay too complicated hoop design for one of my partners.... oh well! I'll probably be sending right at the deadline because of how long it is taking me just to do one Tongue

Okay, so I am back from my trip to Ohio.  I am almost done with the first hoop I started. And I use the term 'almost' very loosely... I am hoping to get that one in the mail at the beginning of next week and start on the next one.  Cheesy

I am having a ton of fun on the design of my first hoop, I am hoping my second one is just as fun!
