I am cruising along with both hoops.  Now if only I could find where I put that one thing that would be perfect as my non-thread component!

So my first hoop didn't take as long as I was thinking it would. I just need to finish off the back and it will be ready to go Smiley

and done! phew.  OK, my first three or four ideas, a couple of which I even worked on, well lest's just say either turned out ridiculous or just not special.  But today's idea won the day and I worked on it all afternoon, happily listening to news and stopping to take scrabble turns on fb of course.  I think it's good, it amuses me.  I hope dreadlady will like it!  sending tomorrow.

so most of my embroidery stuff is in louisiana and i am in arkansas. went to the craft store today to pick out a few things, ran across supplies for this other technique that has absolutely nothing to do with embroidery that i decided of course, i want to incorporate into this hoop. picked up supplies. heehee. of course, the problem is the way i'm planning on doing this it may be too bulky to fit into a hoop. =( will have to figure something out. if it's round like a hoop, and equipped to hang on the wall like a hoop, and there is embroidery involved, can i still call it a hoopla even if there's not actually an actual hoop? =)

I am very intrigued by this...  Cheesy

My hoop is coming along nicely, I hope it turns out the way I envision it!
