Amazing! I have done quilling (on a much smaller scale!) and enjoyed it a lot, but have to say I have never seen anything quite so large quilled before.  Lovely job of it you did too.  How did you finish them?  If you hung them, did you shadow box frame or have them based on board? 

I am sorry - I just saw this now...

I finish them by spraying them heavily with an acrylic spray that includes a UV protectant.  I then matte and frame them without glass.  I create them on art boards - so that gives them sturdy backing as is.

My first thought when I saw your other pictures were peacock feathers!  The thin lines of the paper remind me of feathers, so I practically squeed when I saw that you made a feather-inspired one!  Awesome!
