I made this doily and my daughter wanted to play with it. She asked me to tie it on her barbie like a cape and it occurred to me that it would work perfect as a circle vest. I just used a piece of yarn to tie it, but I think it would look great with some pretty ribbon. Also, a lining would make it a pretty dress and you could even add sleeves and make it into a jacket.

Man, I wish this would work in real life--but where would I find a doily big enough to fit around me?
