wow, I love everything about it! The concept, the skill, the cables, the color! I wish I could knit, but alas, I'll stick to crocheting!

And I wish I could crochet!! Smiley

Thanks for all the kind words!

Worth the wait!  A very complex-looking pattern, nicely stitched, in yummy yarn in a beautiful color...it will look great on Mare! Cheesy

(but you do need to make one for yourself as well...it is just too beautiful!) Cheesy

That is really pretty, and you did a loevly job. I've stayed away from cables in the past, but you said the pattern is an easy one. Is it easy enough to be a first cable project? As to it being belated...Haven't you ever given a half finished project with promises to finish it quickly? I think everyone in my family has had at least one Christmas present with pins or needles still in it!

jigdancer, I think it would be a great project for learning cabling. There are only 2 cable stitches required for each right side row - one right and one left Smiley.

Cables are really easy once you get the hang of it! Give it a try!! Smiley

Gorgeous. The color is beautiful. The pattern is so. pretty. And your work is amazing, as per usual. Lucky, lucky MareMare.
