what do I do about goopy acrylic paint?  what really makes me mad is that the bottle was brand new with the plastic seal still around the cap.  the problem seems to have been the fact that the cap was loose.  I only think this because when I took the cap off (after trying to squeeze paint out of the bottle and nothing happening), I didn't have to use any force.  a small amount of the paint is normal, but when that gets used up, I'm still left with a nearly full bottle of ooey, gooey sunshine yellow mess.  is there anything I can use to make it useable again, or is it a lost cause that can only be solved by buying a new bottle?

I thin out acrylic paint (the craft store kind with the flip top lid) with water, a bit at a time.  Or if I'm being all fancy, with some acrylic medium which will lend some sheerness/a little gloss to the finished coat.  Either way works just fine Smiley

yup.  that's the stuff I'm talking about.  I maybe should have specified that.  Cheesy

so water huh?  I'll gave that a try.  though I do like the other suggestion too since it's just your basic acrylic, not a gloss or metallic paint.

thanks!  Smiley

I've had success as long as I only add a tiny bit at a time, then stir well.  I also use distilled water just so there are no funky side effects hehe
