Princess Cadence

So I recently received a crochet Shining Armour (shown above) from Mama24boyz for the MLP Winter swap. My daughter instantly fell in love and needed a Princess cadence to match. So here she is.

I quite love it and though it doesn't show because of the tail, the pony had bum checks, very cute.
I made the design for the eyes on my embroidery machine, then embroidered them on organza, cut them out and glued as well as stitched on. I stitched the wings down so my kids couldn't carry her by her wings and had to use more purple then I would have liked on them since I totally ran out of yarn for the body. I think next time I want to use less hair for the tail, but over all I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Guess I need to learn how to crochet now T_T That's one awesome pony! Princess Cadence is the best princess despite what everyone else thinks!

Adorable! Seriously considering buying this pattern lol. Just wish the pegasus wings were bigger, but I might be able to fiddle around with that myself. Great job on Princess Cadence!

I personally LOVE this pattern.  It turns out soooo nice.  BUT I kinda agree with you on the wings.  I was thrilled when I found this pony free pattern, I wayyyyy prefer the paid for pony pattern, but I like these wings.
