Hello all. I've been trying to figure out what the stitch used to make these dolls is for weeks. Anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance!

I would say it's single crochet.  From the looks of it the creator of the doll has chosen to put the wrong side out.  Do up a swatch of single crochet and then look at both sides and I think you'll see what I mean.

I don't think its single crochet. I made this doll with the wrong side of single crochet and it doesn't look the same.

Looks most like slip stitches to me.  Might also be single crochets worked in the back loops only.

It looks like slip stitches to me, too.
Man, that would take a bit to build.
