I am thrilled to have found this website! My name is Jody Wallace and I have organized a couple of MeetUp Groups in the Cerritos Area that relate to the home based and small business owner.
My newest group is a Vendor Registry / Network for Craftsters to join and network with each other about local sales events happening in the L.A. area. We also plan to hold our own events every couple of months. Please go to

I'm not out to make a profit on this, so membership will only be $3.25 a month when I do start charging. This is just to cover my expenses and to go for advertising, printing, etc.
My first group is Cerritos Area Small Business Owners Network (CASBON)

And also as a source of business referral. There is no fee for joining CASBON at this time. I'm contemplating merging the two groups together in the future, but I'm currently seeking volunteers to help form a governing body to run things.
From what I see on this site, I'm just what some of you are looking for!

If you attend your only cost is $10 for breakfast, which includes everything... drink, tax and tip! Ya gotta eat anyway, right? And the restaurant let's us use the meeting room for free.
