Two weeks from my due date and in full crafting overdrive (more in a knitting post)!
I made a cake topper for my wedding in June, one less thing to do when the baby's here. We're doing a spring theme with greens and yellows. I've seen a few cute bird cake toppers so decided to make our little family in bird form. I'm not super happy with the eyes, any suggestions?





And then after the wedding the baby can have some stuffed toys! (I'd take off the eyes at that point though).

you could do felt eyes on the birds, you could sew those on, and they may be more childproof that way. (; Way to go and good luck with the kiddie. Smiley

Very cute! I'd do felt eyes too...white ones with a black pupil, maybe eyelashes for the mummy bird...although I actually like the eyes you have on them at the moment Smiley
