I hope I have this in the right category!

My fiancé and I bought our first house recently, and I've been having a great time trying to make it really feel like home. There's not much art stuff on the wall apart from some boring flower art, which neither of us liked very much. So I took the frame and made a mini ticker tape quilt (complete with batting) using scraps from recent projects. Now it's something I actually want to look at Cheesy

I will definitely be making more of these, it was extremely enjoyable Smiley
Sorry about the quality of the photo, it's super dark today!

Beautiful quilt.
I like how the black background lets the colorful fabrics on top shine.

Love the creativity!  Question for you... is the tape measure 'scraps' from fabric tape measures?  If so, where did you get?  I'm looking for these in fabric but all I'm finding is the plastic variety which aren't easy to poke a hole through with my needle.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! In answer to your question, that is just cotton fabric that I bought from an eBay shop based in Thailand called Lucky Fabrics, have a look, they have more tape measure fabrics in different colours. There is also an UK site called Online Fabrics that also sells the same type. I went with the Thai shop because it was cheaper shipping it to Ireland. Ironic that the country next to me charges more for shipping! Cheesy
 I hope this helps!

There is a lot on etsy too, it might be cheaper shipping if you are in US
