How cool are those socks and that cowl knit from your Beatrice's wool! I love the pattern on the cowl! Also, the hoopla for the nursery is adorable. Wonderful stuff, Lime!

Oh my goodness! I can't believe you managed to get Beatrice to wear her little clippie! That is just too cute and too funny Smiley.

I received my second package today and it is so special!! I LOVE everything and am excited to brag about all my cool new stuff in the gallery Smiley. Unfortunately pics will have to wait until tomorrow since it's too dark here now!

I received my amazing package from Gamemom42.
First up is my favorite item-  A Harry Potter House wreath--How cute is this?!?  When I pulled it out of the box my 7 year old said "That's Awesome" , I agree.

Next is a sign to the Ministry of Magic.  The picture does not do it justice.  It is lined with ribbon around the edges for a clean finish and the arrow is a separate piece of wood, not just painted on.  Nice Dimension.  It is meant to be placed above the toilet, LOL- Love the creativity of this.

Next up is a darling embroidered hand towel.

and lots of  wonderful cork stamps that I will be using to decorate pottery. I think they will probably work nicely as wax seals too.  I am looking forward to playing with them.

Everything is superbly done, thank you so much gamemom!

Sorry I've been so silent here. I lost my regular job in in January and I've been working like a crazy person with freelance stuff... Roll Eyes

ANYWAY I picked up my package from tapestrymlp last night and took it with me to the kid's karate class. I opened it there (because I have ZERO patience) and "Yay!"ed with delight right there and then.

Here's why...

Isn't he fabulous?! He's so big, and squishy, and lovely! I adore him.

I don't think I told tapestrymlp this but I had seen a really big gnome in a shop and told my husband that I wanted him for Christmas. When he went back they were sold out. But now I have an even bigger and better one!

I'd love to keep him on the couch to snuggle with but I'm afraid my pooch, Padfoot, is a little enamoured with the gnome too. His eyes lit up and his tail wagged like mad when I brought him home. He was sorely disappointed when he realized it wasn't for him  Cheesy

Thanks tapestrymlp! I love him  Kiss

Thanks for posting the pics maxxev - I was so nervous as to whether you would like your package - I knew you would send something awesome (and it was soo soooo soooooo awesome) and I wanted to try to make something that was worthy and would hopefully express how much I appreciate your awesomeness.

I have to admit, I love how the Enterprise etchings worked out.  I had to try those a few times, and then had problems with my metal punch, so all the metal etched pieces caused me a bit a stress and ire, but when I buffed the Enterprise pieces and saw how the patina really highlighted the lines of it, I was so happy with how it looked.  I was hoping the NC-1701 would be more defined - but considering how my fails were, I decided that was as clear as I could get it!

I am loving this entire gallery.  I am going to have to go back through and pin several things for myself!

Great HP stuff, Gamemom42! That Ministry of Magic sign is too funny!  Cheesy

And tapestrymlp, I love the giant gnome. He looks so at home on knickers' sofa.
