Oh wow - there are some gorgeous, truly stunning pieces of art showing up.  I am in total awe.  I am in total lust over those shoes - would it be wrong to hang them up on the wall to display - because that is what I would be tempted to do!

I received from maxxev, and finally picked it up at the PO yesterday.  I was late getting home, so I opened it this morning and I am in ***LOVE***.  I loved her Terry Pratchett dishware that she made for her brother for Christmas and we were PMing about a personal swap before the IYP came up, so I invited her to dance with me when this came up and she sent me exactly what I was in love with.

I now have my own Death plate - and it will never be sullied by food - I am hanging it up as art in either my craft room or in my bedroom - I love it too much to ever see it possibly get dulled, scratched, or chipped.

Be jealous all you other Pratchett lovers - be in awe of the power and glory of DEATH!

I can't tell you how much I love it (and am so grateful that Canada Post did not destroy it!)

Also, as extras she sent me some of her lovely polymer clay work - she decorated the handles of two crochet hooks for me - they are so smooth and pretty!  Perfect timing as I was thinking of starting a baby blanket for a coworker and the 5 mm is perfect for it!

I love the colours you chose, maxxev - I love the gradation of colour, and the entire look of them!

Thank you thank you thank you!  I sincerely hope my package pleases you - I am afraid of disappointing you because you knocked it way out of the park for me!

After stewing and fretting and several false starts over the past month, I have made significant progress on LeapFeetFirst's purse.  It must be the looming deadline that finally kicked my butt!  I love what I've done so far --- I hope she does too!  Cheesy
