I started with a pattern, but it all went terribly wrong.  I had too many stitches, it was flaring differently, and it was HUGE.  So I threw in some plastic canvas to try to slim down the sides (it's hard to tell in the picture, but it does give it better definition), added some beads, and called it good. 

Oh, and the reason the body is dark with light bubbly bits?  I was working entirely with stash yarn, and was running out of the light brown WAY too fast.  But I actually like the way that looks, so it was a happy mistake.  AND it was entirely of stash materials, part of the 2013 Annual Destash-along.
