I finished this project during the holidays, as the title implies, but I've been once again procrastinating and just now got around to posting about it. Christmas might be over, but that doesn't mean we can't still enjoy a nice holiday project Wink

I spent all of December watching the Yogscast charity livestreams (any Yogscast fans out there?), and everyone kept wearing these adorable Christmas tree hats. I loved them so much that I couldn't resist trying to knit one for my very own.

I completely improvised the pattern, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I'm thinking about maybe writing it up, but it's still a while until next Christmas, so we'll see. What do you guys think?

As always, a bit more info and photos on my blog.

While you think this might be belated, there are those of us who welcome this season year round. It's an adorable hat! I will look forward to a pattern of sorts when you get around to it. Smiley

Yes, post the pattern soon. Especially the star...it is perfect. I'm working now on my knitting for next winter. I don't knit in the summer and then there seems to be no time in the fall and then BAMM it's winter again.  Cry

I love the hat, what fun to wear!

Wow, how awesome is that? I'd certainly try to make one, or one for each of us. The kids would like them too I'm sure. The star, it's incredible, Nice Work!
