I'd really be interested in participating in more swaps with a heavy sewing focus, does anyone have plans to start some?

Some of the ones I've participated in in the past are Craft with a Fat Quarter and the Fabric Basket swaps. Even the Swap a Yard of fabric.

I do other things, but mostly sewing and like to recieve sewn items.

I don't know if I am up for organizing right now, but maybe.

I love sewing swaps as well. I am in the middle of organizing the Givers & Needers swap, so I couldn't organize but I could participate.

I like sewing swaps too. A basket or bag, purse, or wallet would be nice!!  A Hipster bag would be neat! I don't organize sorry.

There was some talk of a Craft with a Fat Quarter swap opening up after the winter holidays, but haven't seen any sign of it yet. Rd 3 of the quilt block swap just opened up (Donniesgirl is organizing). I might be interested in joining a sewing swap. Depends upon whether I'm clear of some other swaps in time and what we're sewing. Hate sewing clothes for other people, but accessories could be fun.

Yea, clothes for the most part would be much too ambitious. I will think on it a bit. The swap I've been co-organizing is winding down and so maybe I would consider organizing something else.

I'm also gonna go search for a thread on the Fat Quarter swap because I really liked that one.

I love the "Craft this tote swap" and "Fabric basket swaps". I loved these because everyone followed the same patter, but nothing looked the same! If we could find an easy pattern for something that many people would use/like - I think that would be fun.

The very first swap I was ever in was the "make a purse and fill it swap". It was awesome and I would love to do it again. I learned a lot and got an amazing HULK purse from Bugaboo1!
Here is a link to the one I did:

It was round 6. I am not sure if they have had any since then.

I was in the 'Make a Purse and Fill It' swap as well, and even though I got flaked on I had an AWESOME time, and ended up receiving a MAGNIFICENT angel package from the organizer!

If another round of this swap starts, I am SO in!  Cheesy
