I think the fill a purse swap is a great idea but I'm not as into it, just because I am SO picky about the purses I carry but I am thinking that I will organize something else in a few weeks. Possibly the craft with a fat quarter swap or i <3 to sew. I'll keep you all posted.

Hi "littlehajerika" sounds good, we could make a purse & fill it & change it to a bag, or basket like for knitting & crocheting or for sewing supplies & make it out of 1 or 2 flat quarters. Maybe a organizer. Anyway just some Ideas.

Is this still going to happen? Just keeping it going! "littlehajerika" your idea of the craft with a flat quarter sounds interesting. What's the i <3 to sew? Not sure what that is. We could make a wallet out of a flat quarter & maybe a couple of small things. That would be fun!!   Grin

I would be interested in a "Make a purse & fill it" swap. Like littlehajerika, I am picky about the purses I carry, but I always could use reusable shopping bags (my area now has a ban on plastic bags and you have to pay for paper).

I plan on starting up a Batik FQ swap next month.  It will be like the Novelty one currently going on, but just for batiks.

For those interested in making a purse there is a Purse Craft-a-long going on! You don't swap it but it helps keep you on track making it.
