I have been waiting for my finances to clear up a bit before splurging on a giant package of "Wash-Away Inkjet transfer paper".

You can print on it, transfer the design to fabric, embroider it, and then wash away the image.  PERFECT, right?

Well I go to the bookmark today and it's no longer on the website.  As proof, here's the instructions LOL:

Does anybody know of a substitute?  (Yes, I've read the transfer thread.)

Transfer pencils are out.  My tracing ability is that of a 2 year old.  I need to be able to print and transfer.  I've tried regular tshirt transfers but they are so stiff, and I'm worried about the fabric cracking or discoloring down the road.

I have 800 projects I want to do but I never do any because I cannot find a good transfer method.

After poking around, I guess I'm gonna order a package of this and try it out:

Wow! I have never heard of printer water soluble paper. The only thing I could think of that would be close, but not water soluble would be freezer paper but it looks like you found something and now I want to try it.

Do you have a light box? I use a cheapy light box my sister bought me to transfer my images. I tape the image to the fabric I'm using then lay it over the lightbox and lightly trace the image with a 5mm lead pencil. My stitches go over the pencil lines and you can't tell that's what I did unless I tell you.
