Vintage inspired librarian chic

Nothing wrong with a little retro librarian style, right?
I made this blouse and skirt independently from another and was surprised how well they go together.
The blouse is the same style as this one here

but with puffy short sleeves instead of long straight ones.
The skirt is a simple pencil skirt pattern for which I drafted a high scalloped waistband and optional straps. They make the skirt more versatile as it can be worn as a pencil skirt or pinafore this way.
