To be honest I wouldn't mind a small extension. I'm almost finished with everything, but I still have to block one item, and with drying time I'll be cutting it close. I had planned on working a lot on Sunday since it's my only day off this week, but then I remembered it was Easter, so family time will take up most of the day. I'm pretty sure I could finish by the original send out date, but it'll be a squeeze.

Hurray! Finished the last  thing thirty minutes before leaving town  for the weekend. I added an extra detail after I thought I was done and now I am much happier with the final product.

So the woman at the Vision Center swore that they didn't have a frame that would fit my lenses, even though I saw one that looked suspiciously similar. She only seemed interested in me making an appointment for an eye exam. :|
But that's okay because that just means I can send with no problem :3

^ That's frustrating! I hope you're able to get your glasses soon. Sad

Just finished item #1 and I'm ridiculously proud of it. Seriously, it's adorbs. I'd made something akin to it years ago so was thrilled when my partner requested something of its kind and, yeah, the end product makes me happy. Just hope it does the same for her!

And just a little more to do with item #2. Unfortunately it's the detail stuff that I'm not so great at. Oh, well. Time to learn. Smiley I need to send out on Monday since my parents come in the day after for DH's ordination and my in-laws the day after that. And I have a present for him to finish before the family hits ... Yeah. So time to put on some more Eureka and finish up those details. Smiley

I encountered a set back with one item. I"m trying to fix it, but I might have to start over :|

Okay everybody, I have decided to give an extension. The new send-out date is Friday.

Happy Easter everyone.
