I decided to try something new for one of my projects that I thought would only take me 2ish hours (maybe longer depending on how many times I burned myself). I've already spent 4 hours on it and I'm not even done yet because I ran into a little bump. A couple of times I kept thinking, "Oh man, this is so not going to work." I'd still say I'm probably at least 85% done with it though! No lies, it's so cool that I'm thinking about making it all again for myself Cheesy

Picked up the makings for one of the items today at Hancock's AND stumbled on a 5 for $5 McCall's pattern sale AND they had all the patterns that my big-but-lacking Joann's was missing last sale. Score!

Now to actually make this ... I've made something similar before (against all odds) and I loved how that one turned out so here's hoping I can repeat the performance.

Also hoping to finish up some doll clothes I've been working on. Pulling out my 18" girls and sewing for them again has been a blast. I forgot how much I love working on that scale. Smiley

I find it soo fiddly to work at that scale, but making stuff is much cheaper than trying to find and buy clothes for my girls.

I've gotten a lot of work done on my large, but I still have a long way to go. I've come up with good ideas for a few small extras (extra small that is), but I still need a good small or medium item to round out the points...
