These are so simple to make and so very thick.  Perfect for those oversized drinks that "sweat" all over your tables.


Front side made with basic continental stitch using variegated yarn.
I used two pieces of 4" canvas for each coaster.
Worked side to side on one design and from the outside spiraling inward on the other.



Back side made with simple straight stitch.


Wrong sides together and use the loop edge stitch to join.
It didn't even make a dent in my skeins of yarn.

Color choices went with my denim blue sofa I recovered and the khaki table topper and throw pillows I made.

great idea for using up left over bits of wool.  I'd also use them for a milk jug as otherwise the condensation from a jug that has just come out of the fridge on a hot day drips all over the table and it is amazing how much of it there is.
