Ahh, those tacos look delish, too!

That's definitely a huge focus of healthy eating with me -- portion control.  If I find myself getting too carried away with portions, I spend a week of measuring everrrrything to get me back in line.  I hate measuring, so I try behave. Cheesy

I don't know about you guys, but a huge issue with my healthy eating plan is my child.  So we purchased Crunch a Color.  It's a card game that helps us all get our veggies in daily.  You can change it up to fit your lifestyle and food needs.  Meal times are no longer a battle and my husband and I are eating healthier.  If you've got kids I recommend (you can get it at amazon).

That sounds like a great way to get the kids to eat their veggies! I don't have kids but I still love the idea of making healthy eating fun. Most things are better when they are fun Smiley.

My nephs all love broccoli...when they were little I said broccoli was little trees and they love eating little trees now!

One of them threw a full-on fit in Applebee's one day because he saw another little kid had broccoli and he didn't!

that's awesome Mare Cheesy

I'm definitely way off track on healthy eating and need to get back to more fruit and veggies as well as drinking more water during the day...some days I go without eating a single piece of fruit and no water at all (I drink many cups of green/white tea but still..)  I also need to do a cleanse and pinpoint what is giving me stomach aches every time I eat a full meal Tongue   kinda putting that off, even though a couple of weeks of extreme clean eating makes me feel fantastic I CAN'T give up coffee and cheese and continue to function in this world.

I'm with you, AM. There is no way I could ever give up cheese. I would happily live off of cheese, bread and salt Smiley.

Mare, that is so great that the boys already have healthy eating habits.

We had breakfast for dinner last night and I made these whole wheat oatmeal pancakes...

They were so yummy that we made another batch for breakfast this morning!

Skipped lunch at a toddler birthday party (pizza and cake) and came home to make a deeeelicious BLT and avocado salad over rice.  Yummy in my tummy.

Ugh. Bloat. I think I've got to cut out grains entirely. No more bread, pasta, rice, corn chips etc. This is going to be a challenge Tongue.
