Pro-house-mouse card!

So, I just came back from a ski weekend.... cabin in the woods. Mice abound in the kitchen. They have a gizmo that makes noise that is supposed to keep them away, but instead we find mouse droppings on counters, in pots and pans, in cuttlery, all over every clean tea towel. Everyone is ticked off about it, but personally I think we can learn to share the cabin. So I made this card and hung it up above the stove for all future renters to consider...



The droppings glued to the bottom are real...
The outside is birch bark that I pulled off a dead tree.

The inside is watercolor and pen and ink.

I believe a tray of used kitty litter is supposed to deter mice. You don't actually need the kitty

 That is the cutest mouse ever! And I am with you. I mean, you're there on vacation and they live there year round. Actually they are sharing.

This is the cutest card...and such a good idea to leave it at the rental house. My girls and I would always leave friendship bracelets and extra floss for others when we vacation at retal homes.
