i knit this beret today Smiley  it is from the rowan ribbontwist collection pattern book.  i used rowan ribbon twist in *rabble* which is a dark brown with gray and tan ribbon twisted around the brown wool (not so apparent from my crappy web cam pictures).  this was my first rowan pattern and i really liked it...it was easy and well written.  there are so many cute patterns in this book...i want to make some of the sweaters but the yarn is sooo expensive but sooo pretty.  this was my first pom pom too Smiley

Your Mercy beret rocks!   Smiley  You look like a Beat.  Cool

The Rowan twist book does have lovely patterns, doesn't it?  I made the Alpha hat in the green ribbon twist yarn color but think I may have to give Mercy a whirl.  Nice!

Yes, I really like it!  I made the Alpha in both Lion Brand Landscapes and Lamb's Pride but it took the green Rowan ribbon twist yarn to make it "perfect."  You'll have no problem making it  Smiley

I have 2 leftover skeins of the Rowan yarn (I had originally wanted to make the Ebony capelet) but I think I'll order another color for Mercy.
