Hi all!  It's been ages since I've done a swap and I've been looking for just the right one to get back into it (I miss it lol).  Been stalking this one for a bit and think it sounds just perfect!  Off to finish up my questionnaire and get it sent in!  Can't wait to sew with all of you Smiley

I feel pretty tempted to join this swap.
I am just not sure which pattern to choose.  I really like the look of the mod mosaic blocks from the last round.  But then again the wonky houses are so fun. Decisions, Decisions. . .

I'm often not a fan of log cabins, because I feel the fabrics have to match perfectly to get a big pattern of them, but that being said - I saw this in the last swedish fat quarter magazine yesterday. Perfectly matching fabrics, and sweet little stars Cheesy Maybe nothing rare, but I've never seen it done that way before!

have a question

I see lots of samplers picked WooHoo I love sampler

Here is my question: Anyone going with a time theme? aka civil war area, blocks from the 30's, stars, or everyone just looking for a mix and match?

Yes I love doing samplers, because I love learning new blocks. I have the blockbase program which I love love love for research. And I was not to know this but hubby let it slip LOL

He got me the electric quit7 as a gift should be here end of the week woohoo. So I am even more excited about playing around with designing.

anyways, just thought I would throw that question out there cuz I have been looking for different blocks and playing around with fabric stash on the computer

well and wonderment

Ooh I've been tempted to get Electric Quilt a couple of times, but I've never actually done it. I keep thinking that I don't quilt enough for that, I usually only need my online resources so I haven't justified the price for myself Cheesy What's the blockbase program? Never heard of it.

Personally I'm just looking for a mix and match, but among the things I listed for ideas there are stars. Smiley I love stars. And pinwheels. And diamond shapes. Hmm I guess I like pointy things. Cheesy
