Ooh that's pretty!

I know I should ask for more raw edge circles for my Christmas quilt...but I'm picking a few squares off of this...It was just so pretty when I stumbled on it!  And I'm going with yellow, white, and blue.

I am looking for 6" and 8" squares of different red, green, white, and gold fabrics to complete a Christmas quilt.  Does not need to be Christmas fabric per se.

It's so hard to wait for signups to finish!!! I'm so excited by this swap idea...

It's a nice long sign up, too, lol!  Last time I closed it early because we had the groups rounded off & then like 4 or 5 people said they were bummed they'd missed it.  So I'm going to try not to do that this time, unless we have perfectly rounded out groups.  I've had a couple people PM me and said they'd make up their minds closer to the deadline.

oooo, that's interesting! It's kinda like a braid block, but am guessing it's sewn in reverse order from that block.

you could always do 2 groups and ask for both! Cheesy
or three   Grin

i just actually LOOKED at the tutorials for those texture blocks. well written and most of them look WAY easier than i would have expected.  would you go for a “pick the one you want?” or try to “assign” to spread the blocks around?

Well...I'm thinking two groups with this one. Each group would get their pick of three blocks from the sampler (six different ones in total). One group would be yellow with a white border, and the other white with a blue border. Then I'll lay them out alternating yellow, blue.  I actually started one of the blocks myself this afternoon and it is super easy so I think they look more complicated than they are.

And if I have to do a third to balance it out, I'll do my Christmas blocks again. Wink

OK I think I am going to have to join in, my life has suddenly freed up time and that quilt that sloth posted is amazing...would you have any objection if I considered that one too?

I have no objection, but sloth would need to provide the tutorial for both of you, yes?
