so jealous... i just can't get involved in this much work right now! nonetheless, i will stalk, and perhaps closer to end of signups things will have settled down around here, and i can jump in... and if not... well i'll just fantasize about the next round! i love the string quilt patch that's been quartered and rearranged (last page of the string quilt tutorial) and the rough edged circle...  Grin that textured sampler quilt is AMAZING but more than a little intimidating! =)

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

Wow I really want to do this, but I'm going to have to think about it a little bit Cheesy I'm going to do the hoopla swap (though might be finished before these signups end?) and my persian course starts next week. It's a slow course though, and I've been dying to get a big enough kick to start patchworking!

I was never told that. I was only ever told "i just want you to try everything at least once", which at that age was about vegetables and odd looking food, but I'm sure its quite responsible for my craft ADD. Though now that we're on the subject, can I blame you for all the cake batter I just ate as well? Cheesy

Regarding sign up, do you specifically want me to specify a block or could I just specify a color scheme and ask my partners to just go for it?

depends what kind of quilt you want.  if you want a sampler (or quilters choice) in blue.  say that.  if you want a log cabin in green and red.  say that.
