Right, so! If everyone's going to be on my back to act my age and wash my fabrics, I'll wash my goram fabrics! Cheesy (j/k) I usually don't wash them since I usually don't make washing-required objects, but if I wash some I should wash them all. So now my apartment is covered in my "whiteish" collection. Tomorrow, reds! Or possibly blues. We'll see. But it's been pretty okay, they've been well behaved and barely frayed at all, and not many are super wrinkly, and I usually don't do laundry so it's not like a high increase of a normal chore! (laundry is what boyfriends are for, c'mon) And I get to wade through my fabrics in detail, which is nice Cheesy
...I'm going to need to buy a grown up ironing board.

Progress-wise I'd hoped to get started on a block tonight that I had pre-washed fabric for already (or some that I have mini scraps for), but it's exhaustion-season so I'll probably just make dinner and then have a lie down... this week might be less productive than I would hope because I have to go look after my parents' cats in the evenings as well, and it's been late evenings at work lately.

Pardon if I'm ranting, it's hard to tell when I'm woozy Cheesy

Ohhh, just a thought when everyone has gotten their spot in the gallery and as pictures are added. If everyone could add a little post (I know right now still waiting on people to get spots) that they added pics it makes it lots easier to know when they are added. For it will show new posting.

Just a thought I know it helped on the last round

well and wonderment

Ha! In my house the laundry is my chore, BUT my husband does the kitchen cleaning and dish washing, so it's a fair trade. I never iron unless it's for a sewing or craft project.

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

Me neither. I only bought an iron two years ago or something for my hama beads Cheesy Most seams are good enough with finger pressing if you're doing something small, so I was doing alright! But now it's a huge ironing project for all these machine washed fabrics - even bigger since the kitten decided to tip the drying stand over in the middle of the night, effectively squashing all the fabrics together on one end of the "lines". Bah. Furry little bastard. She's lucky she's adorable!

Greetings Everyone,

I have Sloth's blocks posted in the gallery, The first did not come out to size, so I changed a few things and It came out correct.

I also have one block for Melladh posted, It came out at 1/8 inch to small. So I am thinking I shall have to do any blocks from my Electric Quilt program at a scant 1/4 inch in order to get them to come out to size.

At any rate. It might seem like I am jumping all around, but there is a reason for my madness I would like to get the blocks done for those I am shipping internationally done first.

Blocks are up for Deece in MN and EllaRain.

And I'd just like to say thank you so much.  February has been kicking my ass around and these happy bright blocks helped.  Wink

Lovely seeing the blocks Cheesy I'm still KILLING myself washing and ironing fabrics haha. Two drying stands filled with the red/browns now, spent hours ironing the whiteish ones, and I've got about 20 yards left... Cheesy Now I'm going to bed. Maybe change up the ironing for a block tomorrow.

I just put up a block for Sparkledust.  I see all the galleries are now created so we should be able to start commenting in the gallery thread.
